"A garden is a place where everyone feels at home. There they can make memories with family and friends, or to retreat with a book. It is a pleasant space with a relaxing vibe.
I have kept the garden in Nazaré Canyon as natural as possible. Here you will not find any plants from outside this region of Portugal. Not only is the garden in harmony with its surroundings, it is also sustainable and low maintenance. Plants that already grow in this environment usually need very little water and are resistant to the sea salt carried in on the sea breeze.
The garden changes all year round, allowing you to enjoy every season. In winter, the trees and plants such as the olive trees, fig trees, hardy jasmine and several different grass types maintain the same sheltered atmosphere and protection as in the summer. Near the pool there is a low-lying patio with a 'fire pit' where you can sit and relax during the day or in the evening. Most people will not notice the attention to detail given to each element in the garden. But this is good a thing, because people usually only notice something that does not fit. When everything feels right, you can simply enjoy."
